.: About Me :.
Hi my name is Robyn Hall & I live in Perth, Western Australia.
I grew up around horses. Both my sisters had real horses & most of my childhood revolved around them. I began collecting random horses from farm animal sets back in the 80's & used to make dioramas in my room & play with them for hours. Later on it progressed to any Barbie horses my parents would buy me. My oldest sister had some Breyer Stablemates when I was a kid which I used to play with when she wasn't home. They ignited my imagination with their realism. Once I grew up & moved out of home most of my connection with horses was lost. Also chronic health issues have made owning a real horse impossible.
I had no models @ all until I started finding & buying ornaments @ second hand markets or shops. But then came the launch of the internet & Ebay. That opened my whole world up & I collected many Barbie horses I'd wanted as a kid but couldn't have. I loved them dearly but they lacked the realism I craved. I remembered my sister's Breyer Stablemates & how realistic they were. I purchased my first Breyers in 2007 from Ebay. He was the trotting Friesian Stablemate & the legendary traditional scale Huckleberry Bey. Many more Breyers found their way into my collection over the next few years. Then I discovered MH$P which is a model horse trading site. This site opened my eyes to model horse shows, customs & ultimately artist resins!! I sold alot of my Breyers to fund my first customs & resins. Since then my collection has been blessed with many carefully selected horses that I'm proud to call my own.
I currently own over 300 models which fills the horseless void in my life. The part I'm happiest about is that through the hobby I bring 4 of my passions together - horses, nature, art & photography. :^}
I hope you enjoy looking through my galleries. The goal of this website is not only to showcase my collection but also to provide photos of models from many angles. Photos like this helped me enormously when looking for a new herd member but they were few & far between. I wanted to provide that for my viewers.
Thanks for stopping by!!
